IN IT FOR FAIRFIELD

Of the Community

There’s so much I love about Fairfield. When I describe the locale to others, I light up talking about the mix of topography and businesses; the picturesque vineyards near hikeable spaces, the proximity of water fronts and interactive farms, charming stores and great cuisines, and indoor and outdoor recreation suitable for all ages - it’s all here! A bit of something for everyone. The fusion of cultures within Fairfield and the presence of Travis Air Force Base underscore the distinctive charm that sets Fairfield apart.

As the District 6 Council member I will support youth and family programs that are vital to a healthy community, work to elevate a quality of life that we all deserve by safeguarding and supporting our first responders , and simply add balance to the variety of political perspectives that is often polarizing and divisive. I am unafraid to roll up my sleeves and diligently advocate for the needs of my district and the entirety of Fairfield.

REVELANT EXPERIENCE THAT WILL BENEFIT D6!

From Vietnam to the USA, my journey as a refugee embodies the American dream. Rooted in service and driven by gratitude, I am thrilled to step up for Fairfield City Council, District 6—an area encompassing Goldridge, One Lake, the Villages, Travis Air Force Base, Huntington Drive's industrial businesses, and Parker Road's small businesses. My deep local experience uniquely equips me to understand and meet our district's diverse needs.

As a 360 candidate, I'm not just a proud mother of four, with three Vanden High School alumni—I'm also serving as Honorary Commander at Travis Air Force Base and lived the life of an Army wife for six years. These roles taught me firsthand about the challenges facing military families and the crucial civilian-military partnership.

Advocating for community projects and policies in DC and Sacramento has given me invaluable insights into how government works. It's fostered strong relationships with leaders at every level, from local to federal. Now, I'm ready to bring this experience and effectiveness to the Fairfield City Council.

So What Else?

  • I am a proud mother of four children, three of whom are alumni of Vanden High School (class of 2012, 2014 and 2017). We sought to move into the Travis Unified School District in 2005 for its distinguished reputation and have benefitted greatly from the Travis Unified School District which is primarily in District 6.

  • Serving as an Honorary Commander on Travis Air Force Base and having been an Army wife for 6 years, I understand the unique challenges of the service family and the importance of an integral relationship between the civilian community and the base.

  • I have found myself on the public speaking side of the council dias in advocacy of funds for community projects and neighborhood improvements. I have also traveled to Washington DC and the state capitol to champion policies for the benefit of our youth. As a result, relationships with the local, county, state, and federal electeds have been fostered. I can lend this efficacy to the Fairfield City Council.
